Bugs with probes reading (Asus Rampage VI Extreme)
tistou77 replied to tistou77's topic in Benchmarking, system performance
Okay, I'm testing this tonight or tomorrow morning Memory allocation is improved or is there an option to choose the % of memory to allocate ? Thanks for your great work- 43 replies

Okay, I'm testing this tonight or tomorrow morning If I disable AVX512, it disables "all" AVX, is it ? Thanks for your great work

Bugs with probes reading (Asus Rampage VI Extreme)
tistou77 replied to tistou77's topic in Benchmarking, system performance
Ok thanks I will wait until it has changed, I tested today and the window remained "frozen" for 5 minutes (indicated "not responding" in the title bar) I check by moving the mouse to be sure that it is not the PC that has frozen- 43 replies

Bugs with probes reading (Asus Rampage VI Extreme)
tistou77 replied to tistou77's topic in Benchmarking, system performance
Thanks for trying to solve this "problem" I do not know how it is "coded" but why not use the same method as HCI Memtest or Ram test (or even Realbench) There is no lag with these Stress test Besides, I noticed that if I use one of these Stress tests and that System Stability Test of Aida64 is open (without launching the stress of Aida64), the window System Stability Test lag (for the refresh of temperatures, voltages, etc ...) But not windows of other Stress Test Thanks- 43 replies

Ok thanks

My CPU is @ 4600, AVX2 @ 4200 and the AVX512 @ 3600 And I wanted to be able to test the CPU @ 4600 (without AVX so) and the rest of the configuration But it's true that I do not care a bit about the AVX512, no application I know uses this instruction But I'm waiting for this application to be "modified" (for the memory among others) before reusing it It's really annoying that lag time until 1mn, I never know if it's a freeze of the OC or if it's the Stresstest that froze

Ok, all the "tests" have been modified with the AVX512 It's not possible to test without AVX

Bugs with probes reading (Asus Rampage VI Extreme)

I tested with my laptop, little CPU and 8GB of ram and Windows 10 No "lapse of time" during memory allocation Maybe this Stress Test better manages small configurations- 43 replies

Hardly I press Start for stress, the PC freezes or BSOD even without the FPU test (no AVX I guess) or just the test Memory and Cache No problem with the last beta Why, OC unstable ? Apart from adding the AVX512, there are also other things ?
-
Hello With the latest Aida64, I guess it's the FPU option that tests in AVX512 with Skylake-X Does it automatically test in "AVX512" ? No option to just use the AVX2 (like before) or AVX512 ? Thanks

If you need other tests An idea of when will be available the "new option" for memory allocation ?- 43 replies

Ok it's by "alphabetical order " Thanks

It may be "read" from the device manager I noticed that it was reversed too In the SMART Dump, it's the EVO on disk 0 and the Pro on disk 1 While with Diskpart, it's the Pro on disk 0 Really weird Windows10 Thanks
-
Hello I have 2 Samsung NVMe SSDs (960 Pro and EVO) I noticed that it is the disc 1 (EVO) which is the 1st displayed in the list, and the disc 0 (Pro) in 2nd I have to reverse the disks and I have that Disk 0 : 960 Pro / Disk 1 : 960 EVO Disk 0 : 960 EVO / Disk 1 : 960 Pro It's not important, but it will be possible to have the disc 0 first, in the list Thanks

Asus Maximus X Formula W_FLOW header missing

I looked, in the bios I have 70 L/M and ~ 2900, 2920 RPM under Aida64 70 L/M = 70 * 1000/24 = 2916 It corresponds, no ? Asus's method will be the right one ? -
Seems to be good with 1201 bios 1.05v in bios, 1.05v with Probe It, And between 1.034v (idle) and 1.044v (load) with Aida64

Ok thanks, I'll test the bios 1201 1102 for now

I tested with only CPU, FPU and Cache There is just a little "lapse of time" at the beginning of the test, but the Elapsed Time always jumps (jumps from 5 to 10 seconds each time)- 43 replies

I have 32 GB and there is only 500 MB left available when I test with Aida64 It will be a good idea this new option I do not know how the stress test allocates the memory, but for example with Ram Test, this stress test takes 3 to 4 seconds to allocate 90% of ram and no freeze Same with HCI Memtest EDIT: After I know that with RamTest the allocation of memory is faster when the Cache is also tested For Memory + Cache: ~ 4 sec to allocate memory Memory: ~ 12sec to allocate memory And no freeze in both cases- 43 replies

Asus Maximus X Formula W_FLOW header missing
tistou77 replied to Elderdeekey's topic in Hardware monitoring
at ~ 200 RPM, that will correspond to the conversion indicated by Koolance 76 L/M (in my bios) = 76 x1000 /24 = 3166 RPM In Aida64 = ~2950 RPM Having PWM pumps, I will have to check by disabling the PWM (the pumps can turn faster while being in the bios) -

So I use CPU, FPU, Cache and Memory I will test without "Memory" to see I am using the latest version of Windows 10 16299 Besides, I think that the amount of memory tested is too important (98%) whereas all the other stress tests, uses ~ 90%- 43 replies

It would seem, according to Koolance for their flow meters, that the indicated RPMs would correspond approximately to ml/min And therefore 1500 RPM = ~1500 ml/min = 90 L/H After I do not know if it's applicable just to the product Koolance But in the bios, I have 76 L/M indicated and in Aida64, 2900RPM ... I think 76 L/M is huge -
