thanks. im going to work on this tomorrow. 1 question. in this panel there is at gpu part a grafic bar. how easy (or hard) is it to make more of those myself instead of a bar? not sure if i want, but it looks good :P

Very easy. Two ways:

1. Find the item in the sensorpanel manager and click duplicate

2. Find the item in the panel and right click, select copy, then paste. If you use copy then load another panel you can post it there.

This is my first post and first sensorpanel I "made". I modded the Custom Cyberpunk panel shared in this thread.

I still need to find good looking images for the GPU, cooling, PSU and drives. I think i'll try to make a Rainmeter panel next, see what the differences are with Aida64. (I have transparacy set to 30% in Preferences of Aida64 to have my background picture come through)

I'm also wanting to make a Blood Omen - Legacy of Kain panel with overflowing bloodmeter and all. I started it, just need a lot of time and inspiration to make one. Im not sure what to do with it yet. Let me know if you have any ideas, suggestions.

Kind of new to this though joined here some time ago,  did you make this available for download?
i'm not quite sure how to tell.  I'd love this for my system

I just finished working on my Sensorpanel for my new WigiDashJerrys.gslcd.  It turned out pretty nice, if I do say so myself.

I had been using a desktop sensorpanel on my third monitor, but saw the Wigidash and thought I would give it a try.

I LOVE it.  And besides...can you ever have too many screens for your system?  Smiles.

Hope you like them.  I have qalso included the exported file below.

Hello everyone...

I have watched this forum for quite a while and have always wondered...The name of this group is "Share your Sensorpanel".

So...why are most of the creations here NOT being shared?  Your screenshot is nice...but where's the beef?

Most of the sensor panels here are so creative and look great...but where is your exported file of your panel?
You know...like the forum says..."Share your Sensorpanel"

Let the rest of us give it a try...or maybe borrow some of your creative work???

Anyway...lots of stingy contributors here, eh?

This was so good it inspired me to get Aida64 and a display to mount in my case. The mounting is still a WIP and as I use Aida64 more I plan to monkey with replacing the static Enterprise D image with a graph that swaps out for different slide of some astrometrics display (probably tied to one of the CPU threads). I'll follow up with actual install pictures once I'm done mounting.

1000% ripping your build here to customize for what I needed, I hope you don't mind @rinaldop!

Other people ruined the community .stole other people's designs and hard work and started to sell them here or elsewhere. then you had the pro and amateur designers used the community to sell there creations.

I agree with the points being raised, though I must admit I'm a bit hesitant to speak up, as I worry it might be misunderstood or lead to issues on the forum to get me banned.

It's not just about selling - I've noticed some individuals offering services like editing others' work or customizing panels for a fee. I brought this up previously and received a warning from that user in open, which made me reluctant to say more.

Unfortunately, I feel that raising these concerns might once again put me in someone’s crosshairs. For example, simple tasks like changing a bar graph to a line graph are sometimes charged at $5 or more, and that too for other's work/panels especially targeting newcomers like myself who are still learning, novice and old aged.

We are the soft targets for these people!

Unfortunately, some individuals download shared panel templates and repost them on other forums—often without the creator’s permission or proper credit. In some cases, these panels are even used for commercial purposes, which undermines the original designer’s effort.

Designing an original panel template from the ground up requires significant time, creativity, and attention to detail. On top of that, creators often pay monthly subscription fees for the design software they use—adding to the overall investment behind each piece. That’s why many creators choose not to share their templates. You either invest the time to build your own or support a designer by purchasing one.

If everything were free in this world, its value would be lost. The time, effort, and creativity poured into making something deserve recognition and respect. Of course, if you’re willing to share your panels, feel free—no one’s going to stop you. Keep in mind—if your panel stands out, there’s always a risk that others might repurpose it for commercial use or repost it as if they created it themselves, sometimes even adding their own watermark to claim ownership.

Love this design.  Reminds me of one of my first designs for the BBS I was running on my home server.  Back in the days of dial-up modems...I had six of them for my personal BBS...which I kept running 24/7 for people to Call-in.  Remember Calling in?  Smiles.  My small server had a six-disk CDROM player for my callers to access my library of files and images.  This was all state-of-the-art then.  Jeez...my computer was probably one of the first AT class systems for home use in this area.  The system was running Windows 3.1.  You remember that, eh?  Smiles.

Anyway...my system had a home menu with the same kind of schematics-like design.  I always loved the design.

Yes...I'm old...74.  I have (and still do) run a one-person computer business since 1984.  I do have another business I have been doing in addition since 2001... www.bottetreecreations.com

So...thanks...

Jeez...I didn't realize there are people foolish enough to go elsewhere for their help in having a sensor panel.  I would think most people would look here first, rather than going somewhere else cuz there are so many great designs here.  I mean...jeez...there are 530 PAGES of contributions here.  If you spend a little time...there is so much to offer here.

But then...this IS a capitalistic society, eh?  Someone will always find a way to make a buck.

Personally...I contribute cuz I am proud of the work and time I put in my designs.  And i like to share.  I also come here to find some tools or sensor designs created by other creators.  So much creativity out there, eh?

And if you think this kind of piracy is bad...you haven't seen anything yet.  Have you seen what AI can do?

One field you probably don't want to get into now is programming...eh?  Smiles.

Anyway...my point is...I think that if you are not willing to share your sensor panel (other than a screenshot) ...go show it elsewhere.  Isn't this forum is better served by the contributors who are willing to share their creativity with other like-minded creators.

Well said, Heinekn.  I am also a elder (77) been with computers since the punch cards days, mostly as hardware repair.  I really like these sensor panels.  I must as I am running 6 different panels at once. 4 turzx, a aids64 and a RDLCD.  They are all running customized panels that I got from this site. resized to fit the 480X350 or the 800X480 or even the 1600X1200.  I buy some panels if I really like them and they are not too high.  one guy wanted over $100 to customize a panel.  I don't think so...but do think more people should allow downloading.  Just be careful about where the parts come from and give credit were credit is due. This is a panel that I cut and paste in paint with background from Hopasuss, Gauges I Don't remember

Hello from Wisconsin.
Heinekn

Exchanging sensor panels doesn't necessarily mean sharing the sensor panel file with others. Sometimes someone just wants to show off their panel, and that's perfectly fine.

Additionally, anyone who shows several designs here (jpg, png) will quickly reach the maximum file size allowed for uploads in the forum. Some people then delete older files to upload newer ones, and this can sometimes cause sensor panels and or screenshots to disappear.

And according to the rules, this is allowed.

Editing sensor panels is time-consuming. Sometimes seemingly simple requests for changes can escalate into unexpectedly large amounts of work. You might turn to someone who does it for free because they enjoy it and are happy to help. Others, however, would like to be paid for their time, which is understandable.

To what extent the pricing is appropriate, such as $5 for editing a load indicator, is something everyone has to decide for themselves, whether it's worth it or whether they shouldn't try it themselves. No one is forced to accept such services. Should someone engage in unethical practices, you are free to report this user to one of the moderators or forum admins if it smells like a "rip-off" or if there are any other problems.

Help is available here upon request, usually always. Some of us have also posted short guides in the forum to make it easier for beginners to edit their sensor panels themselves.

---

When I joined the community here, I offered all my sensor panels for free, until one day one or more users started downloading my panels to offer them for sale on a Chinese website. Incidentally, this website still exists, where freely published panels are regularly offered for sale.

That's when I realized my sharing mentality was hitting reality on the internet these days – everything gets stolen, nothing is rewarded, hardly anyone says thank you. Download and that's it. Many users don't even manage to click the like button. This would increase the visibility of the free panel, and on top of that, it's a form of appreciation for the work and time the person put in.

So, you either accept the theft or take a different approach. And from then on, some, like me, offered their panels for sale and, to protect their intellectual property, continued to add a copyright watermark to preview images.

I don't modify other creators' sensor panels, and I haven't had any requests to do so yet. I work on my own content and modify these panels upon request, e.g., to different resolutions or other things.

Exactly. The topic of passing off the sensor panel as one's own and/or using other people's content without asking and then trying to sell it. This has all been discussed here before, yes. If we notice such behavior or it is reported to us, the user in question will be warned and/or permanently banned.

I’ve gone through all 530 pages of panel content here.

Separate paid from shared.
Paid content shouldn’t be cluttering two different forums. If there’s a paid forum, then that’s where it belongs, no exceptions.

There are about 50 pages of genuine, original sharing, which is great. But over 100 pages are just people's reworkings of others creations to fit their own style. On top of that, we also see artwork that isn’t protected.

No one should hide behind or preach about infringement while also profiting from the same behavior themselves.

As someone who codes and scripts for FiveM servers and also develops textures and models, I can say with certainty: stealing game assets isn’t protected under “common right distribution.” That’s a courtroom argument, not a legal right.
