CPU Temperature not displayed (0ºC) (Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0)

Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing this strange issue for quite some time now and haven't bothered to investigate until very recently. My BIOS can read CPU temps just fine.
I happen to be the owner of a G15 Keyboard and AIDA64 is a great tool for monitoring temps, Voltages, and many other things straight from the LCD.

To the point:
My CPU temperature is displayed as 0ºC in AIDA64 Extreme 5.60.3700. I know the NH-D15 is an amazing cooler and all, but it looks like it's a bit too good, haha. It is not displayed at all on my G15 LCD. On the LCD, the CPU voltage appears as 0V. N/A for the actual consumption in W.
GPU usage is also nto on the LCD - instead of getting VRAM and processor temps (for the GPUs) I get N/A on the LCD.
I get N/A for VRM and RAM temps too.


System in question:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
FX-8350
Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 (it has ThermalRadar for CPU temp monitoring and fan configuration - the CPU temp appears listed over there in pretty normal readings...45ºC on average - even DRAM and USB3.0 ports have their temps displayed there. Same goes for voltages)
HD6950 Crossfire
32GB of RAM

CoreTemp works just fine, reporting per core temps and voltages correctly.

Thank you. The lack of proper sensor readings is due to the fact that AIDA64 is unable to use its kernel driver. That could be because the kernel driver file (KERNELD.X64 or KERNELD.X86) is missing, or your Windows user has no administrator privileges, or a Windows prevents to elevate the security privileges of AIDA64.

I'm the only administrator on the computer. I've just checked my AIDA64 folder (in Program Files (x86)) and there's kerneld.x64 (44KB) , kerneld.x32 (43KB), .w9x, .v64, .ia64. 5 kerneld files total.
I've gone through Properties->Find target and made sure the executable runs as administrator. UAC is set to the lowest level.
I don't know what else I could try to make it work. Do you think it could be a registry issue that might be taken care of by reinstalling the program? I do use registry cleaners on a regular basis.

I doubt ThermalRadar could be in conflict with this software since I did have them both on the system ever since I installed Windows 7 (quite a long time ago) and there were no problems until recently.

You know what? I removed my software, didn't clean registry or anything, downloaded a newer version, installed, imported the LCD config and voilà! it's working again the way it used to. Temps are shown, voltages too, everything works perfectly fine.
This one isn't even being specifically run as administrator (I'm already the admin, but anyway). Strange thing. Maybe the previous installation was corrupted by something. No idea, but now it works .

      Sometimes when stopping stability tests I got a Window popping up an error like "ACCESS VIOLATION IN MODULE AIDA 64.EXE , access violation at address aida64 1efa0174" and I can only close the aida 64 by task manager after that .

      hi, i have a problem with my temperature sensors. It is detected in the software diode GPU temperature and also Temperature 1 is my NZXT kraken cooling wather. My problem is the following: when I select these two values to place it in my monitor for the spec it falls in (TRIAL).       I am new to aida64 extreme, just purchased a new video card... a Nitro RX 6700 XT..
      a picked up a little raspberry pi screen to display temps/utilization/etc.. I was just designing my screen and ran into this problem..
      aida64 was detecting my old GPU (an NVidia 1060), its sensors worked perfectly.  I took it out, then plugged in the new AMD, it is definitely working, runs game, mines etc... I see it in Aida64 extreme "windows video".  but when I try add GPU sensors to the panel, there are no sensors available, I added RTSS FPS but it just displays 0.
      I tried downloading the beta version of aida64, but have the same issue, no sensor appears for AMD GPU.. 
      set preferences to wake GPU on startup, and rebooted to same issues..
      is there anything else I need to do, or do I need to wait for a patch for new video cards?
