Some of you have reported a false positive alert from Windows Defender when downloading our software. We want to assure you that this is not a real threat and explain how you can verify it. We have scanned the latest AIDA64 Extreme v6.90 ZIP/portable version with virustotal.com. You can check the results on their website below. You can also check the MD5 hash of the file to confirm that it matches ours.

Very sad it has come to this.
The very premise and excitement of this thread has been lost with these new rules.
This thread grew because of the generosity members, and the fact that any panel can be modified. Panels submitted from the first posts of the thread had been modified. As a matter of fact, I am sure I can safely bet there are more modified panels in this forum as there are originals. Also the fact that it has been acceptable to modify a panel to a person's liking. And re-submit it.
Have people used other's work for monetary gain? Yes. Will these new rules stop that? No.
I am suggesting a rule that follows the premise of this thread, not kill the thread entirely.
There will always be those in any forum that will teasingly wave a piece of candy in a child's face and not give them any. We have seen examples of that here. Fine, be a dick. But dont expect praise.
There are artist here such as @COSTAJUNIOR and @Exhumed that put out some high quality panels for sale. I can only imagine how much time spent creating some of them. I only mention these two because they are the most prolific posters. It takes a lot of talent and skills to create some of these panels. If you dont want to pay for one -DONT BUY IT! Pretty simple huh?
My suggestion is to keep it as it always was. It is too simple to ignore or block the 'sellers'. Those that dont - choose not to. So quit whining.
Keeping it the way it was:
1) Post a just a screenshot if you just want to be a show-off dickhead.
2) Post a screenshot and the sensor file if wanting to share it for others to enjoy.
3) If a person does choose to share the file, they do so knowing the file can and most likely will be modded. No permission required.
4) If you have a problem with rule #3, dont post the file! Duh!
5) Anyone can download and mod any sensor file posted. Also resubmit the modded file for others.
6) If a person downloads, mods, and resubmits another's work, then credit should be given to original poster
Those 6 rules have always been acceptable here until the 'Seller Shit Storm' started. SHARING is what made this thread the biggest of the forum. That fact alone.
So let me reiterate; if you dont want your panel modded and shared, DONT POST THE FILE!
Now everyone will be happy once again.
I see absolutely no problem or issue with the rules I suggested. I am sure the majority will agree. But then it is The Woke World these days, so minority takes precedence.
If you agree with my suggested rules, then please speak up in the forums or PM an Admin.
Thanks for the suggestions but we see a bit different here. Of course the general rule that you don't post if you don't want your work stolen is true, but we had to put the rules in place so we can refer to it when we have to deal with a situation which got quite common lately.
Of course, if someone is not bothered by others modifying their work, all they have to do is to share it here and write something in the post like "feel free to modify, resubmit" etc, and it will be clear to everyone. By creating a separated topic for the SensorPanel sellers we believe it would be easier for newcomers and for existing members to find what are they looking for. We'll see how it works, of course we can still fine tune the rules and topics if needed.
Also, please keep your tone a bit lower and do not insult anyone who just wants to show off their panel or build. It is perfectly fine and can be very useful for anyone who is here to look for ideas.

This is the most visited topic on our forum, with the most significant number of posts. We are delighted that we have a great community around the SensorPanel in AIDA64, and we are thrilled to see such amazing work that you guys create. However, we have seen several arguments and issues about the increased number of promoted paid works and copyright infringement. We strongly believe in the importance of protecting intellectual property, but of course, it is not an easy task to monitor all uploaded work. To make the forum more feasible, we created a "Promote your SensorPanel" topic where you can put your work you want to sell to others without flooding the original topic. By doing this, we hope we can support the community here and drive it back to a more friendly and resourceful place.
New Rules

No advertising posts for paid resources, SensorPanels in the "Share your SensorPanel" topic. You can still upload your panels here to show them to others and discuss details.
-
You are only allowed to upload your own work here. The only exception is when you have proper authorization from the original owner of a SensorPanel to upload and modify their work.

It seems the app cannot reach our server to get the updates. Make sure you have internet access from this device and try to (force) close the app and start it again

I posted 23 hours ago with my analysis of the D5 Next change and this also got hidden. Do I need to do anything to get a moderator to look at it?
I also posted this on the Aquacomputer forum
Just now I posted this with a hot link and it also got hidden
unfortunately we need some strict rules to fight with spam, we are continuously tune the settings to make it less annoying.

I've sent you a private message about this and also refunded your purchase.

The link is not working, we have updated the websites since then. Sorry for the confusion.
Here is the actual link for the file: https://download.aida64.com/LinuxExtensionForAIDA64.tar.gz

The easiest way to fix to revert back all settings in BIOS to factory default, no overclocking and start testing. If the problem still exist then you probably have a faulty hardware component. You can sort this out by trying different PSU, RAM, etc. until you cannot reproduce the issue.

We have a video tutorial to demonstrate how to build a basic panel. Not a fresh video but we have plans to create more tutorials and resources to help new users to start.

Search works only with at least 4 characters entered. We'll check why there is no error message or a note about this though.

I don't know exactly when it started but I am unable to remove or manager my attachments. I keep getting this message "You have used all of the attachment space you are allowed. Manage Attachments to free up space" and I get no options to manage said attachments.
Please try it now, it should work now.

L3 cache read/write/copy speed can be difficult to measure accurately due to its large size and working behaviour (victim cache) so first try to measure your system multiple times and make sure you kill all unneded processes from the background that can affect the results.

We have an issue with our ISP and hopefully will be fixed soon. Until that we applied some load balancing between other servers to speed up the downloads/updates. Thanks for your patience.

Hi there, I see GPU Memory in the sensor panel, but it is not accurate - any idea how to get this to work? I just downloaded the latest version. Thank you!
Try latest beta version of AIDA64

The most basic things you should check, system overal cooling, CPU core temperatures and power supply. But of course it can be basically anything including the CPU itself or the motherboard.

There may be a formatting difference. We don't know how WMIC gets the value exactly, but after looking a bit into this, there is a recommended way to query the serial, like this:
WMIC path win32_physicalmedia get serialnumber
maybe it helps.

Ah, although the program is called AIDA64, it seems to be 32-bit code. Building an x86 WinPE, the application runs. I am puzzled that there is no FAQ or forum post detailing this.
Yes, the core files of AIDA64 are 32-bit as 64-bit only needed to testing/benchmarking parts. Including details in the FAQ is a good idea, thanks.
UPDATE: I've added a new FAQ entry about this.
"Share your SensorPanel" topics are not available anymore, what happened ?
