Until then, you can precisely set the SensorPanel dimensions by doing: 1) Close AIDA64 2) Start Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) 3) In the Registry Editor navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FinalWire\AIDA64 In there two keys represent the SensorPanel dimensions: SensorPanelWidth SensorPanelHeight 4) After changing those values, close Registry Editor, and start AIDA64 Regards, Fiery

We're currently working on settings exporting/importing for the SensorPanel feature, but it will only be rolled out next week in the next AIDA64 beta release. So now the only way is to completely backup all AIDA64 settings. To do so, make sure to save the AIDA64.INI file that you can find in the AIDA64 installation folder. To restore old settings, just replace the AIDA64.INI file.

SensorPanel currently only supports the text date and time. We may add a graphical clock later, but it's not on our short term roadmap I'm afraid. The current rendering solution of the SensorPanel doesn't support such transparency We'll check what can be done, although a full transparency effect may require a completely different rendering approach. BTW, if you have a fixed place of the SensorPanel on your Windows Desktop (e.g. always the top-right corner), then you may get the transparency effect by taking the Desktop background image, cutting the part out of it where the SensorPanel is placed, and putting that image on the SensorPanel as a background image

As an experiment, we've implemented a method to try switching the Embedded Controller (EC) of Sabertooth P67 and 990FX motherboards, in a hope that the EC then will start measuring the missing set of temperatures without the need to install the Asus Thermal Radar software. We would appreciate if one of you could do the following test, to verify if the switch is valid: 1) Upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1455u8nmy1wgcbzip 2) Uninstall Asus Thermal Radar 3) Power off (shut down) the computer, to make sure the EC gets back to its default state 4) Start the computer and Windows again, start AIDA64, right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Embedded Controller Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Note: The experimental switch will only work on Asus Sabertooth P67 and Asus Sabertooth 990FX motherboards. Thank you.

The SensorPanel doesn't support such scale indicators currently. We thought about implementing it, but it would make an otherwise already very complicated configuration panel even more crowded So at the moment, the only way to add such scale info by putting static labels on the panel.

Thank you for the feedback. The Update Frequency of the SensorPanel can be adjusted on the same page as the OSD: AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Update Frequency.

Thank you, I'm glad you find it useful. It took us a lot more time to design and develop the SensorPanel module than we've ever imagined, but the feedbacks so far are very positive. We were a bit afraid of the complexity of the panel items configuration, but it seems everyone likes to play with it and tweak it for hours

Hint: You can improve legibility of textual elements (in front of a background image) by enabling shadow.

You can add a background image the same way you add any images. The only difference is that it may obscure the rest of the SensorPanel items. In such case you need to use the SensorPanel Manager to move the background image up to the top of the list using the Move Up button. The arrow buttons in the SensorPanel Manager can be used to precisely place the background image at (0,0) position.

I'm afraid your HM65 chip is still the old B2 stepping. You can verify the revision ID + stepping value combinations for Intel 6 Series chipsets at: http://www.intel.com/Assets/PDF/specupdate/324646.pdf On page 9 you can see that revision 04h belongs to B2 stepping. Your chipset must have 05h in the revision field to be B3 stepping.

1) Displaying anything in 3D games or other full-screen 3D applications would require developing several hooking modules to "inject" the graphics to all possible 3D interfaces, e.g. Direct3D9, Direct3D10, Direct3D11, OpenGL, etc. We may do that in the future, but I'm afraid it won't happen this year. 2) You can backup all AIDA64 settings -- including SensorPanel configuration -- by backing up the AIDA64.INI file you can find in the installation folder of AIDA64. We'll soon implement SensorPanel profiling, to let you export or import complete SensorPanel configurations, including images.

Even though the SensorPanel feature is not capable of doing that, you can get similar functionality using either the AIDA64 Logging feature, or the AIDA64 System Stability Test. You can enable and configure Logging in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Logging. You can see the min/max values in the System Stability Test on the Statistics tab.

Do you mean to display not the current temperature, but the absolute minimum or maximum measured since AIDA64 was started?

We'll soon completely revamp the AIDA64 Alerting module, to make it more suitable for advanced use. When we do that revamp, we'll implement new alert triggers, e.g. CPU utilization, GPU utilization, memory utilization. Thanks for the feedback. It seems, lately RAID controller manufacturers are revamping their drivers to make them work in RAID mode even when only standalone drives are connected. Or, at least the drivers stop providing the usual Windows API interfaces for standalone drives enumeration. Hence you need to activate RAID SMART support with those drivers to let AIDA64 scan RAID controllers using RAID methods either.

BTW, do you have the option RAID SMART support enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability? You may need that to enable AIDA64 to recognize the drives you have connected to a RAID controller.

Thank you. We've tried to tweak it a bit in v1.80.1450, but apparently it didn't work out. We've also done some test runs on a 88SE91xx controller, but it seems our test motherboard is not affected by the issue you experience on your system. We'll try to get another motherboard with a Marvell controller, and hopefully it will be suitable to replicate the issue.
