  1. What did you set for the width of the date and time element?
  2. Well, it's not like you cannot do nice things with SenorPanel. Even though this panel has been created for RemoteSensor, you can import the design as a SensorPanel just as well: I really like AIDA for what it is, of course you can always improve it, but it's not like they're not committed to the tool. Especially since it really is just a niche market.
  3. Fiery, I just a tough time finding the posting where you listed all the supported control strings for static labels. Maybe you should post them in a sticky posting, at least as longs as they're not part of the documentation. /edit: Oh stupid me. Just realized that it's a drop down box ...
  4. The values are displayed as expected. I guess the "efficiency" and "cost" values are calculated in their app? I understand how they can calculate the "cost", but for "efficiency" they'd need to know the actual amount of power drawn from the primary side of the power source. Or they're just making a guess based on the wattage? Anyway, the power drawn from the power grid is not measured, is it? I just realized that there's a power value for "DIMM". Is this for real? Can you measure the amount of power drawn by the DIMMs? How do you do that? The value is very low though, less than 0.1 Watt most of the time.
  5. I'm would second this, though I'm not really optimisitic that nVidia even exports that value in some way. The advantage would be that FRAPS would no longer be needed, which becomes more and more outdated and starts to cause problems in some cases.
  6. Wow, that was fast! Did you manage to get the DPS app to work reliably? I'm happy that I won't be needing it anymore... Downloading the update now!
  7. Yeah, I've got serious problems myself. First of all, the app itself finds an update, but the update it downloads doesn't seem to be able to connect to the DPS-G at all (seems to me it might be made for another line of power supplies). After I reverted to V 2.0.6 I could connect again. And secondly, I used to have the problem that the app didn't even start. It usually just quits again without showing any message or anything else. After a while. I figured that it does work quite reliably if I use a task schedule entry to start it with admin rights and - that's important - with a delay of three minutes after logon. It seems to fail if you start it too soon. I start it with these options: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tt\DPSapp\DPSapp.exe" -hid This way I starts silently to the TrayBar. The lack in reliability of that app is one of many reasons I'm so much looking forward to AIDA reading the values of the PSU
  8. Hi Fiery, is this still on your schedule? I'm waiting for this to finalize the panel I started for the Remote Sensor display...
  9. Thanks a lot, Pazu, that was a very fast feature update. It seems you want to challange Fiery and the AIDA team regarding the time you need to implement feature requests.
  10. Hi Pazu, it seems that the monitoring itself works fine, i.e. the app falls back to the "Server offline" display properly and the iPad stays active while the server is online. However, it seems that the iPad doesn't shut off even if the server is offline. I understood that you'd allow the iPad to shut down as soon as the server is down? Are you sure that this is working as intended?
  11. Thanks, I'm clear on everything, just the monitoring is not really working for me. I'm just going to wait for your update
  12. I knew how to configure the refresh, but it seems that the Arx Control just updates once a second, even if you set it to 500ms. The RemoteSensor Server updates the graphs twice a second, while the rest seem to be updated only once a second, still. Why did you back off your update rate? Did you see any impact on your system when using a higher refresh rate? I have the problem that your app doesn't seem to keep the iPad running when the iPad has been shut down since I started the app: - App is running, displaying a panel, the iPad is being kept running just fine - I shut down the iPad manually - I turn it on later, the panel is shown as before - The iPad seems to shut down by itself after a while, even though the server is still active. I'm not sure if that's exactly what happens, I just assume that, because I had the iPad shut down itself sometimes and I could always fix that by killing your app and restarting it. Is there a way to get the exact resolution of the visible area? So I can adjust the panel to the exact amount of pixels?
  13. Already installing. If you want, you can use my panel for the app screenshots. You should also add a link to this forum where people can publish their own designs for others to find. It seems that the RemoteSensor server updates much more frequently than the Arx Module which is also very nice. Thanks a lot! By the way, I'm not really sure what the yellow/green button at the bottom right is supposed to be doing? /edit: I get it, it's the indictator for the server monitor ...
  14. Sorry to be so persistent, but do you have any news about that feature idea?
  15. Yes, exactly, that's the case on my system. Isn't there any way to make both the Aquero and the MB sensors available? It's not a major thing for me, though. Just a matter of completeness
  16. They're called "T_Sensor1", "T_Sensor2" and "T_Sensor3". Only Sensor 2 and 3 are connected in my system, therefor sensor 1 shows "N/A".
  17. Let me add a question to this thread regarding the Asus Rampage V Extreme: The board features three additional headers for temperature sensors (which are also shipped with the board). I use these sensors to control the case fans (in the UEFI setup), which works fine, however the sensor values themselves don't seem to be covered by AIDA64. The fan speed, however, is covered. Can they be added? Or is it an oversight on my part? I've attached my sensor output:
  18. Hi Fiery, in the light of the Panel I just created, I'd like to ask you for a rather simple but nice improvement... Could you add a checkbox to all controls which allow value-dependent colors? This checkbox would be labeled "Smooth color transition". And, as the title suggests, it would make the colors fade into each other smoothly as the sensor value changes. The calculation for the RGB values dependent on the actual sensor value is quite straight forward. That would improve the panel a lot and I'd be even more grateful to you
  19. Very good idea indeed! Unfortunately I cancelled my iOS developer registration years ago, otherwise I'd ask you for a beta version Please publish that app as soon as possible I'd like to know if the panel I created is displayed correctly in your app as well (see the other thread I created). If you want to try that, please contact me by PM so I can send you the files.
  20. I've spend a couple of hours to create my own Panel for my iPad. I was especially looking to create some nice effects with transparent textures. You can achieve quite some interesting things that way, see for yourself. The first shot has been created right after the system has been started: On the water cooling tower on the bottom the tubes and the airflow indicators are actually colored depending on the temperature. Here a shots while running a game: The water level is also shown on the left and right of the water tower, which is hard to see, because it's at 100% in the shot. Here a shot during a stress test of the system (GPU Burner + Prime95): There's still some things to be finished and some detail work. The network info is still missing and I'm looking to add sensor info about my power source once it has been added to AIDAs monitor (as promised ). Please let me know if you like that panel. I've there's some interest, I'd be happy to share the files. It should also run on the RemoteSensor solution as well as the Logitech ArxControl app. And, even though I didn't try it, it should work on Smartphones as well, but the displays might be a bit too small.
  21. Let me chime in and thank you in advance for the new control string feature! It's very usefull for me too!
