pls post a screenshot with your key with previous version (were the key worked)

and one screen with new version who the key doesnt work

i mean a screen under help/info

No need to do that. I suppose Ckit uses a key that he got when he upgraded from EVEREST to AIDA64 in our campaign between Oct 06 and Oct 20. That key had a maintenance limit that expired around Nov 15. So it's normal that he may not be able to run the latest beta.

All seems to be working well!

Remark: the voltages are only reading the cpu.

Would be nice concerning overclocking that there will be more readouts like NB and SB.

Do not know what you can readout with this specific mobo, M4A89TD pro/usb3.

Thanks Fiery

Update:

It was an very short joy, system locks up again!

Had before 5 - 6 times the sensor- and overclock readings and now immidiatly the system locks up.

First thought: could it be that the program needs an lot of time to initialize itself?

Remark: yes, all that Asus crap is deactivated or not installed!

Update on Update:

Seems indeed that Aida need an lot of time to initialize itself, it is working again after starting the program and then waiting at least 5 minutes before activating overclock and sensors.

It is becomming to late, have to work tomorrow, will investigatge further.

Fiery, it has definitely something to do with initializing Aida.

When i start Aida and immidiatly go to overclocking or sensors my system will lock up.

When i start Aida and WAIT 5 minutes (could be shorter i don't know, i waited 5 minutes) and then go to overclocking or sensors the program(s) will run and no lock up.

Hey, I'm having the same problem. When i go to sensor, or preferences->OSD/Sidebar/etc, anything that displays information like that my computer freezes.

Specs:

AMD 1090T 3.6Ghz OC (stable)

Asus Crosshair 4 Formula

8Gb GSkill Flare RAM XMP (stable)

GSkill 120Gb Phoenix Pro SSD (primary)

WD 1Tb Caviar Black (storage)

Wd 300Gb Raptor (Games)

Seagate 160Gb (bitlocked)

Sparkle Gold Class 1000W Power Supply

2 XFX 6870's in Crossfire

I've downloaded the beta, no luck.

I've tried compatibility modes, no luck.

I don't have any other programs that display system info.

Need more just ask.

I never had this problem with Everest.

Any help would be great thanks!

Please try to disable Multi-GPU support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability. That way AIDA64 can only monitor the primary GPU, but at least no lockups should occur.

I did that just now and when I Restarted the program and went to the 'Sensor' section it still froze.

Any thoughts?

I tried both of your 1.2 1150 and 1170 beta and both locked up my computer when the sensors were enabled. I even formatted my HD and had a clearn instal with no luck. My computer simply would not boot at all, but I could start the computer in safe mode. I had to delete your program registry vaules to be able to restart the machine.

MB - Asus P3E3 premium wifi@n

CPU - Intel

GPU - 1xATI5970 and 1X8800GTX

HD - 2x128GB SSD

Fiery, has found the fault, my memory timings where much, much to tight, stupid me.....

Everything is working as it should be.

Nope, ...............

Has bought new Kingston memory and voila................... everything is freezing again!

Looks like if I start Aidai and wait an long time and i mean an LONG time 10-20-30 minutes Aida will at the end initialize correctly.

So, sporadly the program will work.

UPDATE:

Forgot to mention that every time i start Aida (in the past Everest) the Realtek sound icon pops up telling me that an "new device is connected". HUH????

Seems to me that indeed the pci bus is reading wrong?
