  1. It could be. Have you tried running other memory stress or memory CRC checker tools? Or generally any other stress testing tool that may also find stability issues. If the issue can be confirmed by another software, it's definitely something in your hardware configuration, and not a glitch in AIDA64
  2. If you have a space character or any other special character in your folder name or file name, you need to put it between quotation marks (" characters). It may contain such characters that cannot be included in a filename. In such cases AIDA64 will not be able to save the file.
  3. No, there isn't. As for your other post, AIDA64 Business v5.95 (stable release) also includes your monitor. I suppose you're using an older AIDA64 version than 5.95.

We've built a system with a GeForce 7900 GS video card, using Windows 98 SE and the unofficial ForceWare 82.69 drivers you've linked above, but we haven't been able to reproduce the BSoD. For us everything worked smoothly. Please let me know at which place (which page) in AIDA64 do you get the BSoD.

  11. Yes, it's possible to monitor your PC from any web browser, running on any kind of device that has a web browser. You can use the RemoteSensor feature for that purpose:
  12. Arc gauges can have any diameter. You can set it by adjusting the Diameter setting. You can also adjust its thickness and colour, of course.
  13. It takes quite some time for Windows to allocate almost 64 GB of memory when AIDA64 starts to "eat it up" in order to allocate its memory buffers for the memory stress test. During the time Windows is processing the memory allocation, AIDA64 may stop responding momentarily. Try to wait 10 to 20 seconds and see if AIDA64 gets back to responding again.
  14. Please let me know more about your hardware configuration. Such as motherboard model, CPU type, RAM type, Windows version, video card(s) model.
  15. 1) Does your Windows user have administrator privileges? 2) Are you sure AIDA64 is properly installed? Check if all its necessary files are in the same installation folder than AIDA64.EXE (main executable binary). At the bare minimum you need KERNELD.X64 and AIDA64.DAT files for AIDA64 to operate properly.

  17. Such hardware property can only be indicated when the monitor is included in the built-in monitor database of AIDA64, and when the relevant entry in the database is fully populated. We keep working on populating that field, but it's not easy in many cases when the monitor manufacturer fails to properly specify the panel type used in a certain product.

  19. It sounds like a sophisticated and also quite complicated idea One immediate issue about it: how to decide which is the best setting? Because sometimes a higher memory clock combined with worse timings could yield to a higher bandwidth but also higher (worse) latency. One would have to gear the overclocking towards maximizing bandwidth _or_ minimizing latency. The 2 together may or may not work out. A loop that would cycle through 10 or even more tests of each benchmark may work out well, but then one would have to digest the results in a CSV or XML output, and that also would not be ideal for your imagined kind of usage I suppose.
