  1. AIDA_ZIPDLL.DLL is a file that AIDA64 doesn't use most of the time, so you can have it safely removed. But it is still a false alarm
  2. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2045sng0t8xhwrzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. If it doesn't help, then please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> ATA Dump. Copy-paste full results into this topic. Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> SMART Dump. Copy-paste full results into this topic. Thanks, Fiery
  3. Exactly which liquid cooling solution do you have? Do you know which ones (by Asetek, Antec, Corsair, AMD, etc) support ChillControl temperature readout?
  4. We've fixed the BSoD issue on Intel RAID controllers. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2045sng0t8xhwrzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let us know how it works
  5. Please give us a few more days, we're already working on it. I'll post a new AIDA64 beta download link into this topic once we're ready with it
  6. It's a false alarm, don't worry about it. BTW, there's no aida_dll.dll file in AIDA64 distribution package
  7. We've added the requested new hardware monitoring item, Display Brightness Level. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2045sng0t8xhwrzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

  9. We're currently testing the fix with all RST and RSTe driver releases we've got, and the results are so far promising It will fix all issues reported so far, both slowdowns and BSoDs.
  10. We're already working on it. I'll post a new AIDA64 beta download link into this topic once the bug is fixed. It should be ready later today or tomorrow.
  11. Exactly. From the developer's perspective only the Win7 AMD AHCI driver can provide full IDE autodetect and SMART information block for all connected disk drives. The rest of the drivers provide crippled information
  12. Thank you. We've performed test runs in the past few days to see how AMD AHCI/RAID drivers work, and whether they have been improved recently. But no, they're still badly written, at least on the software interaction level So I'm afraid there's no perfect solution for the issue you reported. The only good news I can provide is that at least under Windows 7 (and the upcoming Windows 8) in AHCI mode temperature measurement will work fine -- if you ever decide to let Windows XP go
  13. Thank you for the feedback
  14. We've implemented support for Gmail SMTP in the latest AIDA64 beta release available at: *** AIDA64 Business Edition: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64businessbuild2042w7lyc3phsvzip *** AIDA64 Extreme Edition: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2042w0dzjk8lqczip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. You need to specify smtp.gmail.com for the SMTP server, and use the default SMTP port (25).
  15. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2042w0dzjk8lqczip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works Thanks, Fiery
  16. Make sure to enable both RAID options in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and restart AIDA64 to apply the changes. RAID member enumeration RAID SMART support If it doesn't help, then update Intel RST Enterprise drivers to the latest WHQL release. Regards, Fiery
  17. No, it's not possible to identify the source of errors. When you read from the memory, the data gets into one or more of the CPU caches first, then the CPU processes the data, so even if you find a CRC error, it is not possible to tell where the data went wrong. When there's a hardware failure, we usually recommend to set back things to factory default settings (avoid any sort of overclocking), update the BIOS to the latest one, update drivers to the latest ones, and if possible, reinstall Windows. If that still doesn't help, then you'd start with trying another set of memory modules, and then a new PSU. In most cases that procedure reveals the source of the problem.
  18. If you are connected via Remote System Information, then your messages will be sent via the TCP/IP port for Remote System Information. If you are connected via Remote Monitor, then your messages will be sent via the TCP/IP port for Remote Monitor. BTW, are you using AIDA64 Business Edition v2.50? (latest version)
  19. Generally speaking, we recommend to let the stess test run for at least a couple of hours. If you have time to leave it running, then give it 12 to 24 hours. Regards, Fiery
  20. It could be a port or firewall issue. You can configure the TCP/IP port for each AIDA64 remote feature in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Remote Features.
