Thank you. I'm afraid without the SMBus Dump we cannot do more at this time. We'll do more investigations as soon as we can get a non-reference HD6950.

Tweaked Aida64 A Lot, How Do I Get Back To Aida64 Default Settings?
Fiery replied to Undermoose's topic in General Discussion
You can remove AIDA64.INI file in AIDA64 folder to reset settings to their default. Regards, Fiery -
A quick idea: try disable Multi-GPU support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, then restart AIDA64. In case on your system the nVIDIA GPU is the secondary GPU on the PCI bus, then activating that option will effectively disable GPU support for the nVIDIA GPU, hence the reported issues should go away. Let me know how it goes

Windows 7 System Device Not Detected Until Aida64 Is Run.
Fiery replied to Undermoose's topic in Hardware monitoring
It's normal. On Intel chipsets AIDA64 may enable certain devices (like SMBus or thermal controllers) to let it read SPD memory module information or chipset/CPU sensor readings. Regards, Fiery -
1) Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> ATI GPU Registers. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. 2) Then right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> ATI SMBus Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Thanks, Fiery

We've implemented that on the Storage / Windows Storage page in the following new AIDA64 beta release: http://www.aida64.co...61g6r3qtbpklzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. However, the new feature will only work under Windows 2000, XP and 2003. We haven't yet found a way to detect the same properties under Vista and Win7. We'll work more on it after the next AIDA64 stable release. Thanks, Fiery

Good idea, although please note that Corsair Link is not officially released yet. We're working with Corsair on implementing Corsair Link support in AIDA64. We'll contact Antec to find out if we can do the same with their products as well. Thanks, Fiery

Some Glitches Into The Lastest Beta Version 1.85.1653
Fiery replied to int0x13's topic in Bug reports
That is due to the nVIDIA Optimus feature of your notebook. When you start AIDA64 with the GeForce chip sleeping, it will not appear on the PCI bus, and so it will not be detected by AIDA64. That is a side-effect of how Optimus works. -
I'm afraid we cannot implement that. AIDA64 can only read Windows information for the running Windows instance. Regards, Fiery

Most PSU's do not provide a temperature reading On mobile systems ACPI temperature comes usually from the EC (Embedded Controller) or simply shows an average of the Intel DTS core diode temperature readings.

Aux looks like just an invalid reading that you should ignore. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Based on that data we can check what Aux represents on your motherboard, and fix any potential issues about sensor readings on your motherboard. Thanks, Fiery

Thank you. We'll get an Optimus capable notebook, and analyze this issue. I'll drop a message in this topic once we have an update on this matter. Thanks, Fiery

You can create a custom profile by starting AIDA64, then opening the Report Wizard --> Custom selection --> select the pages you want in your profile --> Save button. Regards, Fiery

/SAFE command-line option disabled using low-level calls in AIDA64. Such calls are required to detect SPD information, measure sensor readings, etc. You may want to remove /SAFE from your command-line. BTW, in case you have an acitve EVEREST license, feel free to upgrade to AIDA64 at: http://www.aida64.com/everest-upgrade Regards, Fiery

Expansion Slot Correction For Ecs G41 Tm 2.0 Motherboard
Fiery replied to Zam's topic in Bug reports
Thank you for the feedback -
Automatic update overwrites existing (old) files, but it doesn't remove your settings (e.g. AIDA64.INI file) and it doesn't remove your existing license. Regards, Fiery

Modern GPUs can be used to accelerate HD video playback, to offload that task from the CPU. So what you experience about VE utilization while playing video is very much normal. While playing games the HD video acceleration is not utilized, but the usual graphics rendering part of the GPU (that accelerates 3D games) is under heavy load. I'm not sure why your CPU is working at 100% while playing a Blu-ray movie. I don't think it's normal...
