  1. You need to backup the AIDA64.INI file that you can find in the AIDA64 installation folder.
  2. The lag is caused by the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers. In fact, the lag occurs in the code of those drivers, so we cannot fix it from AIDA64. But you can disable RAID SMART support in the latest AIDA64 beta (in main menu / File / Preferences / Stability): http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1306w6ekj1ycvnzip
  3. There's no way to check that from a software, unless you can connect an ExpressCard. I don't think it is mapped in any way, but you may want to check the list of devices on the Devices / PCI Devices page in AIDA64. Maybe the port replicator has a reference there...
  4. Thank you for the feedback
  5. The fact that the OS version is reported as v5.1.2600 definitely suggests that some kind of compatibility mode is activated for the AIDA64 process. I'm not sure why is that though...
  6. Maybe AIDA64 is running in XP compatibility mode?
  7. We've fixed the issue about SMART stability option not affecting the RAID SMART layer. We've also implemented a new, separate option to let you disable only the RAID SMART functions. That way, you can have SMART readout for non-RAID drives, and only disable the SMART readout for RAID array member drives. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1306w6ekj1ycvnzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. Thanks, Fiery
  8. AIDA64 settings, including LCD configuration is stored in the AIDA64.INI file in the installation folder of AIDA64. You can backup that file to save your settings.
  9. We may implement graphs for the OSD and LCD features later this year. Until then, you can track sensor values on a graph using the System Stability Test feature of AIDA64. Regards, Fiery
  10. When ACC (Advanced Clock Calibration) is enabled, core temperature measurement is not possible. It is a hardware shortcoming that we cannot fix from AIDA64
  11. In order to correct the measured core temperatures, you may want to adjust the TJMax temperature to a different value in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring. Regards, Fiery
  12. Does your Windows user have administrator privileges? AIDA64 needs administrator privileges to perform low-level hardware detection. If privileges are no problem, then please try to reinstall AIDA64.
  13. The next AIDA64 stable version is scheduled to be released sometime in April. But we'll keep releasing weekly beta updates. The easiest way to upgrade is: 1) Download the ZIP package for the latest stable or beta release 2) Extract all files from the ZIP package directly into the installation folder of the old AIDA64 version 3) Let it overwrite any existing files That method will keep all your existing settings, and it also keeps your license.
  14. Great, thank you for letting us know
  15. AIDA64 has no password protected archive. It's a false report, it doesn't have any viruses or other malware.
  16. Does it mean you've solved it? If not, then please contact our Licensing Department at: upgrade AT aida64.com (replace AT with @) Thanks, Fiery
  17. Thank you for the feedback
  18. The latest AIDA64 update further optimizes the previously introduced AVX-acccelerated benchmark suite for the latest Intel Core i3/i5/i7 “Sandy Bridge” processors, implements AMD Fusion APU support, and provides graphics processor diagnostics for the latest AMD and nVIDIA GPUs. New features & improvements - Support for AMD Fusion “Ontario” and “Zacate” APUs - Improved support for Intel “Sandy Bridge” processors - Further optimized 64-bit AVX-accelerated fractal and security benchmarks - Support for PCI Express 3.0 controllers and devices - GPU details for AMD Radeon HD 6xxx and nVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti - Enhanced support for AMD and JMicron RAID controllers [ Press Release ] [ What's new in AIDA64 v1.60 ] [ Download ]
  19. Thank you for the feedback
  20. Can you please check what happens if you disable the GPU monitoring module? You can do that by right-clicking on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> HWMon Modules --> GPU. Please let it run for an hour or so, and note down the used physical memory by the AIDA64.EXE process before and after that test. In case it fixes the memory hogging issue, please let us know what video adapter(s) do you have in your system. BTW, you can enable and disable the individual HWMon modules "on-the-fly", you don't need to restart AIDA64 to experiment with enabling/disabling them. Thanks, Fiery
  21. Here's the new AIDA64 beta to further improve the eSATA hot-plug support: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1257cav3sln0yczip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. Thanks, Fiery
  22. 1) Please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64 into this topic. 2) Your system spec page is not 100% clear about your video adapters. Please confirm you have both a GTX480 and a GTX285 in your system. 3) Do you have any external drives (USB, FireWire, eSATA) connected? Thanks, Fiery
  23. It's a very small world indeed :) Thank you for the USB test. I hope we can release a new AIDA64 beta tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.
  24. I meant that you should have kept AIDA64 running while running the dumps and connecting/disconnecting the drive. Thank you for the dumps, apparently the eSATA interface causes the headaches We'll try to implement a workaround in the very next beta release of AIDA64 to fix it up. However, even the beta you're running should handle USB drives fine (I mean USB drives with a temperature sensor, e.g. WD Passport). I'll let you know in this topic once the next beta is out. Thanks, Fiery
  25. Thank you for the feedback. It seems AIDA64 still has issues retaining the drive ordering when an USB/eSATA drive is connected. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> SMART Dump, and copy-paste the full results into this topic. Please perform the dump 3 times: 1) Before connecting an USB or eSATA drive 2) After connecting an USB or eSATA drive. Before making the dump, wait until the labels are changed and reflect the arrival of the new external disk drive. 3) And finally, after you disconnected the drive previously connected. Before making the dump, wait until the labels are changed and reflect the disconnection of the external disk drive. Please make sure to have AIDA64 running all the way while making the 3 dumps. Thanks, Fiery
