  1. We've done a lot of tweakings about the JMicron RAID support, and also about the AMD SB7xx/SB8xx RAID support as well. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1255xv4smgwy5bzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. Please note that unlike JMicron and Intel RAID drivers, AMD RAID drivers unfortunately do not expose a pass-through function to read SMART attributes (incl. disk temperature) from RAID arrays. Thanks, Fiery
  2. We've once again improved the hot-plug disk support in AIDA64. Please note that you may need to reconfigure the HDD labels for the OSD, Sidebar, LCD features once. But after that initial reconfiguration is done, the labelling and ordering should be kept consistent from now on. Thanks, Fiery

  4. We've fixed it in the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1255xv4smgwy5bzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. Thanks, Fiery
  5. You need to add a command-line to the central users logon script on server A: \\A\aida64folder\AIDA64.EXE /R \\A\report\$HOSTNAME /CSV /AUDIT /SAFE /SILENT You need to have AIDA64 Business Edition files placed in the folder "aida64folder" on server A. You should make sure you set the security options for the folder "aida64folder" on server A, so that your users have read-only access to that folder. You should also make sure to provide write-only permissions for your users for the folder "report" on server A. Then once your users log on, you'll have a report created in the folder "report" on server A. Once you have all reports created, you can load those reports into AIDA64 Business Edition's Audit Manager feature for further processing.
  6. In order to figure out which two of the 3 temperature readings ("Motherboard", "CPU", "Aux") AIDA64 shows are the real one, I guess the best method would be to compare the values against MSI's own monitoring software (MSI Control Center II). In case using that utility you can verify that the "Aux" reading is indeed a bogus value (that MSI's software doesn't show), then we can remove it from AIDA64 sensor readings. Thanks, Fiery
  7. Thank you for the feedback
  8. AIDA64 indeed disables CPU power management features before running a benchmark, and it restores settings after the benchmark is finished.
  9. Your CPU supports Turbo Boost. With Turbo Boost the CPU can exceed the maximum multiplier by one or more steps.
  10. Thank you for the feedback
  11. Just download the beta ZIP package, and extract it to the installation folder of AIDA64. Let it overwrite any existing files. Your settings and your license will be kept intact that way. That is illegal. Please stop spreading your AIDA64 license key!
  12. We've completely revamped the CPU core clock, CPU multiplier, and HTT clock measurement on AMD K10 family processors (e.g. Phenom, Phenom II, Athlon II). Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1251oq1xi5ergvzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. 13. We've added the missing hardware monitoring items. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1251oq1xi5ergvzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. Thanks, Fiery
  14. I'm not sure if it would help, but we've improved the exception handling on every info pages of AIDA64, incl. the Memory page. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1251oq1xi5ergvzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know if it helps about the thread count issue. Thanks, Fiery
  15. We've fixed the TMU issue, and also implemented TMU count detection and texel fillrate calculation for R600 and later GPUs by ATI/AMD. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1251oq1xi5ergvzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. 17. 1) In order to perform that task, you're going to need AIDA64 Business Edition. You need to purchase one license for each computer you'll audit. So if you have a network with 100 computers, you need to have 100 AIDA64 Business Edition licenses. 2) AIDA64 has full support for all Windows releases since Windows 95, incl. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. 3) You can use the command-line facility of AIDA64 Business Edition to launch it from a logon script, create reports automatically, and place it in a shared folder of one of your file servers. You can find more information on the command-line options in the AIDA64 Business Edition users manual (AIDA64.CHM file in the distribution package). 4) You can use the Audit Manager feature of AIDA64 Business Edition to compile an audit summary in a chart format.
  18. But until then you should be able to upgrade to a X58 board, or some AMD stuff
  19. Thank you. On our own test systems the latest AIDA64 beta combined with the previous Intel RST release already didn't produce any "hickups" or lags, so we have to rely on you guys to provide us feedbacks on this RST update
  20. We've asked our contact at Intel, and he reckons due to the nature of the problem (which is very deep, at the silicon level) there's no scientific way to measure or even estimate the level of degradation. There's of course a number of diagnostic features of AIDA64 that you can use to find out whether your hardware is still working at the expected level of performance. E.g. you can check if the SMART attributes look okay -- if there're multiple critical values reported, it most likely means the controller is failing. Or you can use the AIDA64 Disk Benchmark to measure the bandwidth of the controller. And you can use the AIDA64 System Stability Test to stress the disk drives while also stressing the whole system. But if you ask me, I would either just connect the drives to the SATA 6.0gbps ports (port#0 and port#1), or better still, return the board under warranty for a replacement. There's really no point relying on an unreliable hardware, and then check how unreliable it is right now
  21. That may be due to the revamped hot-plug drive support in AIDA64. Now when you add or remove a disk drive (e.g. a USB HDD), the order of drives may change. We'll try to further improve it to avoid such hassles that you described. Meanwhile, please make sure to use the latest beta release of AIDA64: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1243bw4ylkfd0mzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Thanks, Fiery
  22. On most motherboards the "Motherboard" temperature is the surface temperature of the sensor chip (that is mounted on the motherboard PCB). In other words, the sensor chip measures its own temperature, and reports it as "Motherboard" temperature.
  23. Thank you for the suggestion. We'll work on it, and hopefully will be able to add it to the next AIDA64 release. Thanks, Fiery
  24. How many tabs would you like to have?
  25. You can basically extract the files to any folder. If you have an older AIDA64 already installed, you can overwrite its files. If you have no AIDA64 installed, you can extract the ZIP content to any folder, even if you place that folder on a USB flash drive
