  1. We've further improved negative temperature support in the following new beta release of AIDA64 Extreme Edition: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1170ws0dcy6mjxzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works Thanks, Fiery
  2. Thank you for the feedback
  3. Thanks BTW, having the mentioned option checked is the safer setting. It's weird that unchecking it helped, but I'm glad it did.
  4. AIDA = Advanced Identification of Devices & Adapters It's an old thing
  5. Thanks for the dumps. This one seems to be a completely different issue to the P5Q fan problem. Please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64 into this topic. Thanks, Fiery
  6. EVEREST Ultimate Edition and EVEREST Ultimate Edition Engineer shares the same functionality and features set, and only the licensing differs. Same applies to AIDA64 Extreme Edition vs. AIDA64 Extreme Engineer. EVEREST Corporate Edition has features geared towards corporate use (network monitoring, remote control, remote reporting, SQL database support), and it doesn't have several features that the Ultimate Edition has (e.g. benchmarks, overclock information, hardware monitoring modules). Same applies to AIDA64 Business Edition. The most accurate description of the features set of various AIDA64 editions is shown at: http://www.aida64.com/product/aida64-extreme-edition/features Regards, Fiery
  7. Thank you. However, it doesn't seem to work even with EVEREST v5.50 (latest version). I'm not sure what's the trick there, but this plugin seems to be a bit crude. Is there any AlphaCool SDK or programming documentation, so we could make an AIDA64 plugin from scratch?
  8. Thanks for the feedback
  9. Please let us know more about your system configuration: 1) Motherboard model? 2) CPU type? 3) Video adapter(s) model? Single card, or CrossFire/SLI? 4) Windows variant? Windows kernel type? (32-bit or 64-bit) Thanks, Fiery
  10. Some UPS report those values (e.g. Full Battery Lifetime), some don't. Some UPS will report more values when they're offline (not plugged into A/C power). Try to disconnect the UPS from A/C power, wait for 10 seconds, and see how the values on AIDA64 Power Management page change.
  11. Please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Power Management page of AIDA64 into this topic. Thanks, Fiery
  12. Can you please post a download link to the acEverest.dll file?
  13. It will be fixed in the next AIDA64 beta. I'll post a note into this topic when the new beta is published.
  14. We would love to add that, but so far we couldn't find a proper method to measure current and aggregated network bandwidth, with minimum performance hit (so WMI wouldn't work) We have a very old method on the Network / Windows Network page in AIDA64, but that counter overlaps at 4GB, and these days it's too easy to reach 4GB -- hence it's not really suitable for modern applications.
  15. We currently have no plans about a native AlphaCool LCD support. Do you know who made the Everest.dll module?
  16. Do you mean the advanced Intel RAID SMART support works fine for you? Or you wanted to report a bug? Thanks, Fiery
  17. Did the latest beta fix it for you too?
  18. Yorkfield uses 2 dies in the CPU package, each with 6MB L2 cache. AIDA64 shows the cache size associated with the actual core selected. Regards, Fiery
  19. Thank you for the feedback
  20. Please do not mix AIDA64 and EVEREST files in the same folder. Put them into different folders, and let them manage their own files. The only thing you may want to mix is copying the old EVEREST.INI file that holds your existing Preferences settings, rename it to AIDA64.INI, and copy it to AIDA64 folder. That way you can migrate your EVEREST settings into AIDA64.
  21. 1) Are you sure? We've just tested it, and we have all three OPTx temperatures in the Registry. Have you enabled the relevant items in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / External Applications? 2) We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 beta release. As soon as it's ready, I'll post a note into this topic Thanks, Fiery
  22. Thank you for the feedback. It's definitely the Areca RAID members enumeration then. The old version (5.02.1750) had no support for Areca RAID arrays at all, and in this case no support means no headaches We'll check our code and either we'll fix it, or we'll implement a workaround, or we'll completely remove the Areca-related code. I'll let you know in this topic how it goes.
  23. On your friend's computer someone has already downloaded an AIDA64 trial version over a month ago, and gave it a try. Maybe he already uninstalled it, and already forgot about it Now the 30-day trial period is over, hence you cannot use the trial version any longer. Regards, Fiery
  24. I was just wondering the used EVEREST version, because we've implemented Areca RAID controller support in EVEREST Build 1824. In case you use an older version, then it would be great if you could give it a shot with EVEREST v5.50.2100: http://www.lavalys.com:8081/everestultimate-discontinued-550-o1kx4dyabh.zip You don't need to perform a full upgrade of EVEREST. Just download this ZIP file, extract it to an empty folder (it can even be a new folder on your Windows Desktop), and run EVEREST.EXE. In case this one hangs, it means the issue is with the Areca RAID members enumeration. Thanks, Fiery
  25. Do you have all AIDA64 files in the AIDA64 folder? I suspect AIDA64.DAT file is missing -- maybe more files too.
