MediaTek can be confusing about what values they encode to various places of the Android profile about their SoC's. I wouldn't mind about how it's called but rather focus on how many cores it's specified to have at what clock frequency, and whether those values can be seen properly on the CPU page in AIDA64. As for RAM size, indeed there could be a portion reserved for other purposes, although 1/3 of the RAM size reserved sounds a bit excessive. As for internal storage, sadly a lot of space is reserved on many devices for the Linux kernel and its files, for Android system files and system apps (built-in apps), and also for the recovery partition. That's why modern Android installations wouldn't really fit on anything less than a 10GB storage

fixed: Mainboard MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk - Missing Values
Fiery replied to RB55's topic in Bug reports
Some motherboards may wire the DIMM slots incorrectly to the SMBus. That's not a problem, since it's only a matter of how you call a certain DIMM slot. As for GPU fans, first is the GPU RPM (fan rotational speed), and the second one is the fan duty cycle setting (a percentage value). Duty cycle dictates how fast the fan is supposed to be spinning, but it's not a measured or observed value. Even with a 100% duty cycle the fan could be stopped if it's e.g. clogged up or there's a fan malfunction. -
No, since it's only an informational value. Its value doesn't affect how our benchmarks behave or how the result is being calculated or shown.

Aida64 Extreme Stability Test Error Message
Fiery replied to JuliusAugustulus's topic in Hardware monitoring
It may not be related to a system stability issue, but a sensor mixup or other problem with the low-level features of AIDA64. Try to update to the latest AIDA64 beta version and check it out again. https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta -
Thank you! Please submit a report from the About page, and if possible, we will fix the CPU detection issue in the next AIDA64 app update.

We don't have generic support for Arduino based sensors, but in case it's a standard solution, we can talk about it As for pump/fan controllers, AFAIK aquacomputer is one of those companies that offers such products that work flawlessly with AIDA64.

The latest AIDA64 beta build should be 5490. That's where we've fixed support for your motherboard. -
Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works.

Please note that it's not possible to diagnose such issues remotely. You may want to take your phone to a local specialist and have it checked out.

T_Sensor1 & T_Sensor2 not showing on ASUS Zenith II Extreme
Fiery replied to speedym's topic in Hardware monitoring
Do you have the two EC related options both enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability? Embedded Controller (EC) support Embedded Controller (EC) bank switching If yes, then please post a screen shot of the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64, showing all thermal readings. Also, please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Embedded Controller Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Thanks, Fiery -
In case your system has a lot of system RAM (64GB or more), and you have the RAM (system memory) subtest enabled in the AIDA64 System Stability Test, you will need to give the Windows kernel at least a minute to allocate the system memory. Unfortunately as Windows keeps evolving, it takes it more and more time and resources to allocate huge chunks of system memory. So it's normal that the stress test window gets unresponsive due to the Windows kernel performing the memory allocation tasks

Thank you! I'm afraid your motherboard incorrectly reports "4.6.5" as BIOS version in the standard DMI BIOS information block. Biostar needs to fix this by writing the correct information there.
