We rarely have a chance to test systems with over 100 GigaBytes of RAM installed, and no, we never had a chance to have a Xeon Gold system at our HQ to test it thoroughly. As I've mentioned above, we're working on the next-generation AIDA64 System Stability Test that will allocate RAM via a smarter way to get rid of the freezing issues. We're currently considering backporting the new RAM allocation scheme into the currenty AIDA64 System Stability Test to help you about that issue quickly...

GPU Values Disappear (Asus Radeon 5500 XT + Asus X99-Deluxe)

Maybe the values disappear when your video card switches down to a low-power mode? Can you see a pattern in the behavior? -
New LCD device support: Samsung SPF Digital Photo Frames
Fiery replied to Fiery's topic in Hardware monitoring
I'm afraid Samsung SPF devices are not 100% stable. Overheating and firmware getting mixed up seem to plague them quite frequently These days we'd recommend using Beadapanel instead of Samsung SPF. -
Make sure to upgrade to the latest version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xe After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know if it helps.

Yes, scanning for DIMM thermal sensors can cause issues, that's why it's there on the Stability page. You can disable Aquaero sensor module temporarily by right-clicking on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> HWMon Modules --> Aquaero. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first.
-
Stability settings are there to let you disable certain modules that have a potential of causing problems. It's not there to let you disable otherwise perfectly working parts of AIDA64.
-
No, it's not possible right now. What issues do you experience that makes you want to disable the Aquaero module?

AIDA update download speed is awful. 85Kbs, is silly.
Fiery replied to HeavyHemi's topic in Bug reports
That's really a low download speed, I'm sorry about that. It tends to happen only in the first 24 hours after we release a new stable update. Our servers have good internet connection, but when everyone (in virtually the same time) gets notified about the release, our servers get over 5000 concurrent download sessions and https queries at every given moment. So whatever bandwidth the servers could provide, has to be shared between all those folks hungry for getting their AIDA64 update By now it should be back to normal, which means at least 10 times faster than your quoted download rate. You can use the Stop button on the toolbar of the NetUpdate window to cancel the download of the update package. Then you can close the window gracefully. -

Please note that on many devices the standard Android Battery API is inadequately implemented, and fails to provide proper charge counter information for the battery. If you want, you can hide the incorrect charge counter information from the Battery page by unchecking the charge counter option in the AIDA64 Settings.

We've never tried it without installing LGS, so it would be an interesting experiment. Place the LgLcdApi.dll file into C:\LgLcdApi\SDK\LCD\x86 folder. Then using Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) you need to add a new Registry value named InstallDir (type String) under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\Logitech\Logitech Gaming Software Set the value of InstallDir to: C:\LgLcdApi That should make AIDA64 find the DLL and try to load it. We will then see whether it works or needs further components installed.

Gigabyte X570 Series - Sensors und Fan-Names
Fiery replied to golgorod's topic in Hardware monitoring
4) You can contact Gigabyte Support. There's a slim chance you can convince them to take steps to help us implement support for your device in AIDA64. It would be a lot easier if Gigabyte sold the controller separately too... As for 1), I'd leave it for others to come up with a good alternative. From a developer's standpoint I don't like any of them, since they raise different struggles. In other words, from the standpoint of interacting with such fan controller hardware, there's no perfect solution, and that was to put it mildly Of course if you don't want to monitor them, or can (and want to) rely on their manufacturer supplied software, they are great products. -

Stability test not opening up (blank proccess window open)
Fiery replied to Nilstorm1341's topic in Bug reports
It looks like it's more an issue about the enumeration of sensor devices in AIDA64. When you go to the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64, does it work properly? -
We've done several test runs about it, but somehow the serial connection of Pertelian X2040 is unstable under Windows 10. We've tried to play around with the timings, delays, uses special tricks, but all it could achieve is a little bit better operation -- but not a 100% fix.
