  1. I'm afraid we're not skilled in hardware development issues. Maybe the topic opener romP44 can chime in.
  2. Thank you. My best guess is that the Chipset and TSensor1 temperatures aren't provided as a meaningful value by the current BIOS of your motherboard via the Asus WMI ACPI interface.
  3. I'd design a single page with a higher resolution than what the device supports, and zoom in on the part that is of interest at any given time.
  4. Try to wait 5 minutes after starting the memory stress test due to the slow memory allocation by the Windows kernel I've explained above.
  5. Thank you for your feedback. Please note that fake device manufacturers and vendors target respected Play Store apps like AIDA64 by designing their products around the idea to fool those apps with fake device properties reported via standard Android API calls and Linux kernel files. It's best to avoid fake devices rather than blaming apps.
  6. Thank you for your report. We will fix the reported issue in the next AIDA64 app update.

    Light sensor

We don't have any technical information on that.
  8. I've sent you your AIDA64 Extreme product key in email.
  9. With the FPU subtests it's not just thermals but also the overall system power draw is maximized too, so it will heavily stress motherboard and PSU components.
  10. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Thanks, Fiery
  11. Thank you for the data. We've checked, and the reported temperature on your MSI Z170A motherboard is properly measured by AIDA64. If you're still in doubt, please check it with another monitoring software, preferably one made by MSI themselves. As for your Gigabyte B550 motherboard, we will fix that issue in the next AIDA64 beta update due later this week. I'll post a message into this topic once the new beta build becomes available for download.
  12. It will keep working perpetually, no limit on the usage period. Updating to a new version is never mandatory, but only recommended. After the 12-month support & maintenance period expires, no more updates will be installed. However, in case you upgrade your hardware at one point in the future, you may find it necessary to renew your license in order to update AIDA64 to the latest version in order to fully support the new hardware.
  13. 1) Only a single button is handled as a small LCD screen. 2+3) BeadaPanel has a 5-inch and 7-inch version. They are handled by the AIDA64 LCD module directly via their proprietary USB protocol. They don't show up as a secondary monitor in Windows.
  14. Yes, at least a few hours if possible. First, have every subtests checked, then only have the FPU subtest checked and the rest of the tests disabled. With only the FPU subtest your system will be stressed for thermal (cooling) issues.
  15. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works
  16. Problem is that the smaller and fancier you go, the prices get quite whacky
  17. Our iCUE Nexus device hasn't arrived yet. As soon as it hits our lab, we start researching how can we support it. I have high hopes of fully supporting it as long as you close iCUE (software) since it notoriously collides with any other hardware monitoring software that is trying to access Corsair hardware. As for El Gato, the support is quite basic. You can place a single image on the last key and that's it. We're hoping that someone can develop a plugin for it that would allow more flexibility and greater interaction with other plugins. Currently we cannot allocate more development time on that project. I cannot recommend either, since El Gato support is too basic, and without a test device I cannot confirm that iCUE Nexus would work with AIDA64.
  18. Less issues and also usually you can obtain a cheaper _and_ larger screen that way.
  19. Are you using the latest beta build of AIDA64?
  20. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Make sure to also have both EC related options enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability: Embedded Controller (EC) support Embedded Controller (EC) bank switching
  21. Freezing, in case it's not due to a system lockup (system crash) is normal when you have the memory stress test enabled and you've got 32 or more GigaBytes of RAM installed. Windows can get quite busy and unresponsive when a certain running program is allocating almost the entire system memory for itself. As soon as the memory is fully allocated, the freezing should go away though.
  22. Temperature #2 is odd, since you're supposed to have Temperature #1 (which is also called T_Sensor1) on your motherboard. PCH Diode is the internal temperature of the chipset (PCH), measured by the PCH's own thermal sensing logic.
  23. Thank you. I have no idea why it doesn't work, so we've ordered a Kraken X-3 device to check it out more thoroughly. Please give us 2 weeks to solve this, because most of our team is currently on vacation.
  24. Yes, that's how it works.
