vrm fixed: VRM temperature may not be correct (ASRock B450M Pro4)
Fiery replied to chanket's topic in Bug reports
If you deem it's an incorrect reading, then just ignore it and focus on the other thermal readings. -
I7-9750HF & Intel Pentium Gold 5405U not found properly
Fiery replied to Jeppe's topic in Bug reports
It's not written in stone yet. We're planning to do a release before September, but we'll see how it turns out. -
Thank you. Do you think the EK Loop Connect device appears as YiMing 1840 as a connected USB device?
-
Yes, either Odospace is the solution or the RemoteSensor feature:
-
I'm afraid I have no idea what could be going wrong in those instances My best guess would be a collision with another software, but it's just a guess.

As for CPU temperature, your motherboard cannot measure that. But you can re-assign the missing reading to another CPU thermal reading like CPU Package by right-clicking on the CPU temperature bar --> Modify. As for GPU temperature, I suppose you use the integrated Intel GPU and not have a video card. In which case you can re-assign the missing reading to another GPU thermal reading like CPU GT Cores or iGPU by right-clicking on the GPU temperature bar --> Modify.

Please try to close CAM and right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Thanks, Fiery

What motherboard do you have?

Do you have AIDA64 loaded at Windows bootup?

Access Violation at Address/Thread creation error...
Fiery replied to MundaneCivilian's topic in Bug reports
1) Do you try to add the image to the SensorPanel layout, or to an external LCD layout? 2) Is the image in PNG or JPEG format? 3) Would it be possible for you to send a sample image to us in email that fails to work on your system? Make sure to remove any sensitive information or details from the image beforehand though -
I suppose what happened is that the AIDA64 kernel driver got stuck inside the Windows driver cache. Try to uninstall AIDA64, scan for your HDD/SSD for any of its remaining executable files (AIDA64.EXE) and remove them in case there're some left over. Restart Windows, and scan the HDD/SSD for KERNELD.X64 file, and remove them if there're any left over. When you're done with it, everything should be back to normal and you should be able to reinstall AIDA64 properly.

It looks great, good job there!

Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta Let me know if it fails to fix the issues. -
It's in the system menu of the AIDA64 app.

On processors that have a large L3 cache that serves a lot of CPU cores, it's very tough to avoid some background process or service to write something into the L3 cache. There's no real solution to this issue other than re-running the L3 read bandwidth benchmark 10 times or until you get the highest score possible. Just double-click on the box that is in the row of "L3 Cache" and in the column of "Read" to re-run just the L3 cache read benchmark.

Benchmark problem. Quality loss in games.

It's hard to say what could have happened. My best guess is that anti-aliasing is now disabled on your video card. Try to reinstall AMD video drivers and check if it fixes it. -
fixed: Core Voltage not showing (ASRock X570 Extreme4 + Ryzen 7 3800X)

Thank you! We will fix the issue in the next AIDA64 beta update. I will post a message into this topic once the new beta build is available for download. (sorry to repeat myself here ) -

Thank you! Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works. -
1) The LPT LCD module supports the T6963C protocol, but you gotta make sure your device uses the "T6963C Standard" wiring that AIDA64 expects to have. You can check the wiring in the AIDA64 LCD Guide at: http://download.aida64.com/resources/lcd/aida64_lcd_guide.pdf 2) Some music players are supported, you can check the Media Title, Media Status and Media Position sensor items in the System group in case your music player is supported. 3) Yes, you can use both simultaneously. 4) Samsung SPF support will not be discontinued in AIDA64, but the devices themselves are already discontinued by Samsung years ago.

Asus ROG Maximus XI Extreme Missing Readings
Fiery replied to CyberIand's topic in Hardware monitoring
If they disappear, it means the EC registers polling collide with a background process, most likely by an Asus software component. As for the water flow, Asus motherboards seem to use different formulas to convert the Water Flow "fan" RPM reading to LPM/LPH. AIDA64 uses the most common conversion formula that may not suit your current configuration. You can use the Correction facility (AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Correction) in order to apply a ratio (multiplier) on the flow rate reading to make it right. -
Ryzen temperature jumps (ASRock X470 Taichi + Ryzen 7 3700X)
Fiery replied to ViCe's topic in Hardware monitoring
I don't think there's any problem. Windows 10 does a lot of funky things in the background which could wake one ore more cores up from their sleep state from time to time. As for the temperature differences: please note that Ryzen Master calculates both thermal and clock averages in order to smooth out spikes in their readings. While AIDA64 keeps measuring immediate readings that will indicate (and in some cases reveal) spikes. -

Do you have both Embedded Controller (EC) support and Embedded Controller (EC) bank switching enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability?
