NAS drives not found in AIDA64
Fiery replied to markusrubi's topic in Network audit, change tracking, SQL databases
By connecting the box via USB should be enough to let AIDA64 read SMART info. -
AIDA64 can only list the 32-bit control panel applets there. That's definitely a limitation, but we haven't found a way to get around it so far. Regards, Fiery

We've added a few new lines to the language modules. We may add some more in the future. Regards, Fiery -
NAS drives not found in AIDA64
Fiery replied to markusrubi's topic in Network audit, change tracking, SQL databases
First of all, please note that only locally connected drives can be interrogated by the SMART layer of AIDA64. Remote drives are not supported. In case you drive is connected locally, then make sure to have both RAID options enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and that you're running the latest beta release of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2419txgzqv3nwhzip If it still doesn't work, then please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> RAID Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Thanks, Fiery -

NetUpdate control for measured connections
Fiery replied to Fernando Gregoire's topic in Brainstorming
AIDA64 uses standard Windows internert access API (wininet.dll) to download updates information and update packages using HTTP protocol. It uses standard Windows proxy configuration, but beyond that it has no control over the actual network adapter, network layer or network route Windows picks to download the necessary files from AIDA64 servers. So I'm afraid currently we cannot limit AIDA64 NetUpdate to specific network connections. Regards, Fiery -
1) Do you have the two RAID options both enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability? 2) As for the video BIOS version, please let us know what sort of video adapter is it, and what motherboard do you have. Thanks, Fiery

Thank you Meanwhile, we've tested Intel RST 12.6.0.1028 on a P67 board with 2 HDDs in a RAID0 array, and for us AIDA64 latest beta worked flawlessly. Full SMART information, incl. drive temperatures returned perfectly.

Thank you. Can you please post a download link to RST 12.6?

What kind of SSDs are they? Thanks, Fiery

I'm pretty sure that's just a false alarm. Many security software tend to get too sensitive these days. We've notified eSupport about this issue though, so they will look into it and contact BitDefender to have Total Security 2013 fixed up.

Please let us know more about your computer. Motherboard model (or notebook model), CPU type, Windows version? Thanks, Fiery

fixed: Gigabyte GA-VM800PMC: Incorrect Memory Bus and V-Link Speed
Fiery replied to nelsonhf's topic in Bug reports
Thank you, the bug will be fixed in the next AIDA64 beta release. I'll post a message into this topic once the new AIDA64 beta is available for download. -

Please also post a CPUID & MSR Dump. Right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> CPU Debug --> CPUID & MSR Dump. Thanks, Fiery -
Can you please post a full Scythe part number for your card reader? We'll try to purchase one to perform test runs in our labs.

Are you sure you have driver version 3.3.107 installed? That looks like a very old release, since the latest Logitech LCD drivers is v8.45.88: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/g19-keyboard-for-gaming?crid=404&osid=14&bit=64

fixed: UEFI version is not showing (ASRock Z68 Extreme4)
Fiery replied to fatal fury's topic in Bug reports
I'm afraid that may happen in such cases when the UEFI BIOS refuses to emulate the classic system BIOS region with valid data. The System BIOS Date field shows that the system BIOS is invalid. We haven't yet found a proper workaround to fix such issues -
Mouse freezes when navigating panes in AIDA64 (Lenovo Y500)
Fiery replied to Yankeese's topic in Bug reports
Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild2412dt8hwjrp4mzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. If it still doesn't work as expected, then please try to disable SMBus access in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and let us know if it makes a difference. After altering the SMBus option, make sure to restart Windows. Thanks, Fiery -
It's not useless at all. You just have to keep in mind that "43C" means "under 44C"

Stress cache and stress GPU causes immediate restart
Fiery replied to rhodetrip's topic in Hardware monitoring
It sounds a lot like a PSU (Power Supply Unit) failure to me. If it's possible, try to get a new PSU. Borrow it from a friend to make sure you don't spend too much on this issue if the PSU is not at fault afterall. If the PSU is fine, then my second guess would be the motherboard: one of the capacitors may have given in. But, before you start dealing with hardware issues, make sure to update the motherboard to the latest BIOS version, restore your settings to factory defaults (make sure your system is not overclocked), apply all Windows updates/hotfixes, and update your video driver to the latest version.
