This is simply amazing. A few questions though, for me it doesn't display FPS while in game do you know why, and for cooling how can I correctly change fans (exhaust/intake) to fit my own setup?

Hello,

I'm having an issue setting up those sensors. I tried different ones, but keep getting this kind of behaviour.

It's for a 480x1920 screen. It used to work but had to format recently.

Thanks

Two monitors? Set windows scaling to 100% and then restart pc and try that way. You can change scaling of main monitor later if it is scaling issue.

If that doesn't work try this

Scaling issues?

Q: I import a sensorpanel and its changes the size and re-aranged objects

Q: How to avoid scaling problems with sensor panels?

A: Two things usually cause that

  • You do not have the proper font installed. (The default font is loaded instead)
  • You do not have Windows scaling set to 100%

A: When creating a sensor panel, make sure that you set the scaling in Windows to 100% and that the resolution in Aida64 is correct. The manually set sensor panel dimensions are saved directly in the sensor panel file and are automatically applied when loading for the first time.

Q: How to check the panel size?

  • Right click on "Aida64" Task bar Icon > Settings > SensorPanel > SensorPanel Size

Scaling issues? (Windows)

Fix: Try setting "DPI compatibility mode" for aida64.exe

It's a Windows compatibility setting that you apply on the EXE itself. Locate AIDA64.EXE (C:\Program Files (x86)\FinalWire\AIDA64 Extreme) aida64.exe > properties > compatibility > change high DPI settings > activate "Override high DPI Scaling behavior" to System. Scaling performed by: 'System' (from the drop down) > Ok/Apply > Restart Windows > Load/import panel and check if it works now.

Once you've done this, make sure that your SensorPanel properties are set to match the new panel before importing and you have a better chance of being successful.

Troubleshooting not working?

Users who have this scaling problem and cannot resolve the error with the known "fixes" unfortunately have to manually re-align each individual object.

I used FRAPS on most of my panels  for FPS reporting. However it does have challenges with steam. I recommend you use Rivatuner Statistics instead:

To Resolve:

1. Install Riva tuner statistics server use this link:  Guru3D RTSS Rivatuner Statistics Server Download 7.3.6 Final

2. Run Rivatuner server

3. Right click RivaTuner i the tray and select show

4. Set it to start at windows start, oh and you are using you panel so set on screen display to off

image.png.efb757c94888036a48c7a22c21a798ba.png
5.  Right click Aida64 tray icon , go to - Preferences - External Applications - Enable Shared Memory

image.png.e16a9fde7cec5a05681d4d02f7b9ff8a.png

6. In the same preferences window wait for the list to populate then Tick 'RTSS FPS'

 image.png.604dfb3ee7ffc8f25c1e3462b516fa8e.png

7. Right click my sensor panel - select Sensor panel manager

image.png.5715587e17aa96704ee6eb5c5da45db7.png
8. Find the first item which has 'Fraps' name (there are about 6) right click and select modify

image.png.99fbecd400339e8fb646f7dd5e959a6e.png

9. Note the min and max values you will need these!

image.png.9b56b31f93d842d42e9bbd8579fec19c.png

10. Change the source to RTSS FPS

image.png.a4574880d06c4503b9bcb9dad8db6ace.png

11. Set the min and max values to the values you recorded

12. Repeat for all sensor items which have 'Fraps' description

Thank you so much for providing both means to achieve same results and very detailed guide, you rock man..

Not disagreeing with the above excellent post. But worth noting that if the physical panel is not exactly the same pixel size the layout will not be correct. (That's why I have to create so many versions :( )

My panel being 480x1920, I'll still have issue using a 400x1080 ?

The Empire Theme in 480x1920  515x1920 (Updated to RTSS)

@bkpowers you are in luck. I had already created the background for this, and its a small shift from the original I use as a template so easy to rustle up quickly! Bonus this uses RTSS for frames which is more stable too.

First off, this is awesome and thank you so much for posting this for free. My only question is that the CPU temp is N/A for me. I've been playing around with it and I just can't figure out what I should do to properly get the temp displayed. Any thoughts?

Right click on the panel and select Sensorpanel Manager. Scroll down the list until you see the entry for CPU temp. Left click on it and select modify. You will now see a list of all the sensors on your computer that are being monitored. Scroll down to the temperature section and see what is available for your CPU.

This is what I've got. I've tried them all and nothing changed. I'll just have to keep trying.

I was using 'CPU package' which I guess is an intel thing. I would select 'CPU'.

You will need to do this for the other CPU guages too (Note their Min , Max values before you select the 'CPU' temp, as they may reset and the guage will be inaccurat!)

You quoted me by mistake,  kemosabe19  was asking for help.

Go to the main page of AIDA64 and select sensors and see what sensors are active.

Well, I deleted the CPU packages and just added "new". So while I won' thave the bars on the side, I do have the temp now. I'll start from fresh later to see what else I can do.

Thanks again

I adjusted the spacing of the fan fan bars resources bars so they used up the space better and also aligned to the bottom in the same way all the other indicators do. Just asthetics but I get autistic on these things :)

Oh and I just realized I got the Performance warn, Crit, Norm tags wrong, so just updated those too. Now all done!

Again you're a rockstar!!!!!!! Thanks so much

Hope all is well, I’m new here! Just purchased the Wigidash and Aida64 Extreme software. Now I’m trying to find out where I can download high resolution sensor panels, any help or info would be appreciated, learning as I go, thanks!
