I'm afraid there aren't many active (currently sold) devices on the market that falls into that category So we generally recommend using an old Android tablet or iPad for such purpose. But I'm glad you've managed to make it work with a more relaxed update frequency

Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works Thanks, Fiery

fixed: Missing NB and SB temperatures (Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z)
Fiery replied to lamb0985's topic in Hardware monitoring
Please make sure to disable the option Asus ATKEX sensor support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and restart AIDA64. It should enable the missing temperatures. Regards, Fiery -
Connection speed is fixed. It shows 100 Mbps for a 100 Mbps LAN connection, 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) for a gigabit LAN connection, etc.

It happens on i965 chipsets, when the BIOS locks down access to MCHBAR. It means chipset information cannot be read. There's no fix for this, unless the motherboard manufacturer unlocks access to MCHBAR by altering the BIOS. Regards, Fiery

That confusion was caused by a bug in the LCD rendering module of AIDA64. We will fix that in the next AIDA64 beta update Thanks, Fiery

Windows may still manage a swap space, even when you have no paging file defined.

I don't think it makes much sense to replicate a built-in Windows application like Task Manager. Why would you reinvent the wheel? As for the rest, we'll check it out, although only the Performance tab looks interesting. Thanks, Fiery

I suppose you're using an old AIDA64 version. We've already revamped that to avoid such confusions Make sure to use the latest version of AIDA64 v5.75.
-
Yes, it's already been implemented in AIDA64 v5.75 (latest stable release).

Have you tried to check whether the correct NIC is used for your graphs? In many cases there are multiple network interfaces/adapters present in the system, and maybe your graph is configured for the wrong interface. BTW, you can switch the NIC download/upload rates to MB/s or Mbps by simply specifying that as the measurement unit for your sensor item. That's a trick that we've introduced a year ago

Samsung SPF devices are very odd, and we have exactly zero documentation on them. What we do in AIDA64 is using a trick that the mini-monitor software (by Samsung) uses. It should work on all SPF devices we've listed, but we cannot guarantee that all devices with all firmware combinations work flawlessly. Maybe yours have a defect (either a hardware defect or a firmware issue) that causes your device to work unreliably. Maybe it's overheating -- and maybe it would work exactly same way with Samsung's mini-monitor mode as well. It's not possible to diagnose that remotely I'm afraid
-
I think those could help. It's definitely worth fiddling around with it a bit, maybe you can find an optimal setting where it keeps working for hours without issues.

The mentioned new AIDA64 beta update is available for download at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta Let me know how it works

We've seen such issues in the SPF topic: https://forums.aida64.com/topic/2424-new-lcd-device-support-samsung-spf-digital-photo-frames/ And I'm afraid it's due to overheating of the picture frame.

It's only the regular icon to represent a voltage reading, electrical current reading or electrical power reading. It's not meant to be a warning sign. We'll however replace that icon soon, to avoid further confusion due to its appearance.
-
Thank you. We'll fix the sensor issues in the next AIDA64 beta update due later this week. I'll post a message into this topic once the new beta is available for download.

New LCD device support: Samsung SPF Digital Photo Frames
Fiery replied to Fiery's topic in Hardware monitoring
It's not really that straightforward. Those files are not 100% compatible with each other. That's because LCD layouts can have multiple pages, while the SensorPanel layout can only have one page. So if you design a multi-page LCD layout and you import it as a SensorPanel layout, your pages will be joined and several of the LCD items may overlap with each other. In which case you need to re-adjust the positions of those items to fix it up. -
New LCD device support: Samsung SPF Digital Photo Frames

Yes, and that module of AIDA64 is called SensorPanel -
Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Embedded Controller Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. Thanks, Fiery

Thank you! We don't have any presets available, but you can use some of the SensorPanel layouts other users posted to: https://forums.aida64.com/topic/667-share-your-sensorpanel/

We've implemented CUE SDK support in the latest AIDA64 beta update: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta That will now work even when Corsair's own software (CUE) is running in the background. In fact, with your keyboard that seems to be the only way to make it work properly. So make sure to install the latest version of CUE, and have it running in the background, simultaneously with AIDA64. Please let us know how it works.
