Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. This one should work with both Corsair Link v3.x and v4.x. Let me know how it works

I don't think so. What could happen is a faster battery discharge when you keep AIDA64 running in the background to monitor your notebook. Monitoring hardware uses a few percentage of CPU load, and that causes higher overall system power draw than without it.

AIDA64 information pages are not structured like that. They use a linear layout. The Overclock page uses 2 columns with text, so there's no room or place for graphs or other special visual elements. We've developed the CPU Clock Monitor for that purpose

MSI Z97 GAMING 5 - Missing CPU and Motherboard sensor
Fiery replied to LuckMan's topic in Bug reports
There could be a connection between AIDA64 kernel driver and the Windows Update service. What AIDA64 does, but only under Windows 7 64-bit, is that it checks for the list of installed hotfixes, and when KB3033929 (SHA-2 security patch) is not installed, it will load its legacy 64-bit kernel driver (KERNELD.V64). Can you please check what happens if you again disable Windows Update? Do you have KB3033929 applied? Do you have KERNELD.V64 file in your AIDA64 installation folder? -
Thank you. It's quite an odd issue...
-
Maybe the issue is that you're running Corsair Link software and AIDA64 in the same time? You need to close Corsair Link, and also stop its background service to make sure AIDA64 can open the H110i GTX device.

In the state when the PSU power readout disappeared, please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64 into this topic. Do not make a screen shot, since all readings may not fit on there, but instead use the right-click context menu to copy the content of the Sensor page onto the Clipboard. Thanks, Fiery

Different AIDA versions showing different sensors
Fiery replied to alph4's topic in Hardware monitoring
I suggest you to try upgrading to the latest AIDA64 beta: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta Because on your screen shot, the left shot shows a state where AIDA64 is unable to detect the motherboard model, and that issue was fixed only in Beta Build 3702. -

Try to reinstall AIDA64 (latest beta would be best, link below), and make sure to have the KERNELD.X64 file in the AIDA64 installation folder (for 64-bit Windows). http://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta If all of that don't help, let me know what security (anti-malware / anti-virus / firewall) software do you have installed. It may prevent AIDA64 from loading its kernel driver. -
Thank you for the feedback You keep bringing up valid points, so we jumped on them

Power Load and Max Power Load should already be available on the Computer / Power Management page of AIDA64
-
Thank you for the feedback. Do you mean no sensor support for H110i GTX in AIDA64 or in Corsair Link software?

New corsair AXi series sensors and monitoring
Fiery replied to Ramses's topic in Hardware monitoring
No problem at all AXi PSUs provide the following readings in AIDA64: - 3.3V, 5V, +12V, -12V, PSU Input voltages - 3.3V, 5V, +12V currents - 3.3V, 5V, +12V, PSU power draws - PSU1, PSU2, PSU3 temperatures - PSU fan (only shown on the Sensor page when the fan is spinning) CPU Package temperature is provided by the CPU itself. -
I meant MSI Command Center. Doesn't it have a monitoring module? http://download.msi.com/uti_exe/command_center.zip

New corsair AXi series sensors and monitoring
Fiery replied to Ramses's topic in Hardware monitoring
No group of PSU related entries will be shown for the AXi, but 2 or 3 PSU temperatures, PSU fan and PSU power should all appear on the Sensor page. However, PSU fan will only appear there when the fan is spinning. Power efficiency is computed using a proprietary formula, and it's not available in AIDA64. -
Thank you for your kind words

Per-core multipliers are not listed simply because on a many-core system it would ruin the layout of the Overclock page You can still place the per-core core clock readings on the OSD Panel or SensorPanel, or use the CPU Clock Monitor (apparently you've figured the latter out already )

Based on those dumps, it should work fine. Are you sure you don't get readings on the Computer / Sensor page? Note that PSU sensor readings may replace (overwrite) certain motherboard sensor readings, like +5V or +12V voltages. You can also try right-clicking on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> HWMon Modules --> Corsair AXi / HXi / RMi and see how the Sensor page readout changes. Try to disable the PSU sensor module, see how the Sensor page content changes, and then try to enable it again, and see what changes then. -
MSI Z97 GAMING 5 - Missing CPU and Motherboard sensor
Fiery replied to LuckMan's topic in Bug reports
It seems AIDA64 cannot use its kernel driver to detect low-level system properties like motherboard/CPU temperatures, voltages, fan speeds. Make sure to let AIDA64 use its kernel driver by providing administrator privileges. If there's an UAC prompt, make sure to let it elevate user privileges. -
I've just sent you a private message about this

12V inaccurate reading - EVGA X99 Micro2 & Corsair AX860
Fiery replied to honma66's topic in Hardware monitoring
Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> SMBus Dump (Full). Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. Thanks, Fiery
